Justin Timberlake and Hugh Jackman are teaming up to celebrate the life and career of movie legend and dancer Gene Kelly. Timberlake will appear onstage while Jackman has recorded a video message honouring his hero at the Hollywood gala to mark Kelly's 100th birthday.

They will join the likes of director/choreographer Kenny Ortega and actress Nastassja Kinski, who worked with the Hollywood icon on the film One from the Heart, to discuss the impact the Singin' in the Rain star had on their careers. Marisa Tomei, Penelope Ann Miller and Angie DICkinson are also expected to be part of the celebration to be held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Thursday (17May12). Kelly's widow, film historian Patricia Kelly, will host the event.

Making for a memorable night at Staples Center, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were front row at the Los Angeles Lakers/Denver Nuggets showdown in Los Angeles. The recently engaged Hollywood power couple were on-hand for Game 7 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals in the 2012 NBA Playoffs, with the "Sexy Back" stud enthusiastically tweeting prior to tipoff, "C'mon, LakeShow..."

During the course of the hardwood contest, Justin and Jessica proudly showed off their love for one another by putting on a full-blown makeout session for the kiss-cam. Later on in the game, Timberlake got up on his feet to give Lakers' star Kobe Bryant a high five after he knocked down a decisive three-pointer with the hometown team clinching the series 4-3 after winning by a score of 96-87.

Making the moment extra-special, it sounds as if Kobe predicted his big time bucket to Justin just prior to draining the three-pointer, as one of JT's pals tweeted, "My guy @jtimberlake just called me and told me that Kobe called that last 3 to him before he hit the shot.. #Kobeisthebest"

“@barackobama inspires me once again. True leadership is when you are willing to risk your power and voice so that ALL of ours can be heard,” Justin wrote. Also pictured inside: Justin‘s fiancee Jessica Biel running some errands at the Beverly Glen Mall that same day in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Justin Timberlake and fiancée Jessica Biel aren't exactly known for the public displays of affection, but anyone sharing a table with them at the Met Gala on Monday evening would have to disagree. The couple looked utterly besotted with one another as they shared an in-joke, tenderly leaning their heads towards the other's to touch noses.

The Illusionist actress and SexyBack singer beamed with Cheshire cat grins as they closed their eyes while lost in laughter, clearly oblivious to anyone else in the room at that moment in time. Justin, 31, looked handsome in his Tom Ford tuxedo and bow tie, which his fiancée Jessica, 30, looked incredibly graceful in her unusual Prada gown with jade stones - and of course, a rather large rock on her engagement finger which cost an estimated $130,000.
 
While the dress fit like a glove, it seems the 7th Heaven beauty had a little difficulty wriggling into it though. Earlier on in the evening, Jessica took to her Twitter account to tell her followers: 'I can't zip up my dress. Welcome to my world! #MetBall'.

Perhaps the champagne flutes and various wine glasses littering their table hinted towards why the private couple appeared to let their guard down. It was also their first official outing together since getting engaged last December, when Justin is believed to have popped the question at the luxurious Amangani Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
 
The couple are believed to have already started scouting for wedding rings, after they were spotted trying on gems at jeweler shop Eli Halili in New York last Saturday. A source told People: 'They were extremely personable, comfortable and relaxed. They weren't holding hands or anything, but they just seemed comfortable with each other.'
 
Justin and Jessica, who have been dating on and off since January 2007, are reportedly looking at venues in Italy for their August wedding.

Justin Timberlake stepped out of an NYC hotel yesterday and stopped to take pictures with waiting fans. He's already had an exciting week in the Big Apple after attending Monday night's Met Gala with fiancée Jessica Biel. It was their first public appearance since they got engaged over the holidays and Jessica showed off her huge diamond ring on the red carpet. The evening also marked the launch of Jessica Biel's new Twitter account. She tweeted pictures of herself getting dressed in Prada and more recently shared a picture of her helicopter ride over Manhattan.

The fun is just beginning for Justin and Jessica since they are apparently planning to tie the knot this Summer. They've started shopping for the big day, too. Justin and Jessica reportedly looked at wedding bands with jewelry designer Eli Halili over the weekend, but instead purchased other items including a labradorite ring and two necklaces.

They rarely walk the red carpet together, but future spouses Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel always seem to make an exception for the annual  Met Gala in New York City. For the first time since their winter engagement, Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, made their first joint appearance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC Monday. Biel showed off her flawless figure in a plunging white Prada dress with cascading jade green stones. "Prada picked it out for me," she told reporters. The brand also outfitted Biel with her shoes and clutch.

Biel, of course, also showed off her diamond engagement ring, which cost an estimated $130,000. It was designed by Timberlake, who "went rogue without telling Jessica's stylist" to create the bauble, a source recently told Us Weekly.

Timberlake, meanwhile, suited up in a black Tom Ford tuxedo with a satin shawl lapel, evening shirt, satin bowtie, cufflinks and leather "Chelsea" boots. "We're gonna go find champagne," the singer told reporters on the red carpet.

The loves of five years are in the midst of planning their summer nuptials, sources recently told Us. "It will be a big wedding. They have lots of people they want to invite."Bride-to-be Biel has even enlisted help from her future mother-in-law, Lynn Harless. "She's helping Jessica with every little thing," a source said.

Nothing spells romance like a night out watching two men pummel each other. Well, at least that works if you're Justin Timberlake and his bride-to-be Jessica Biel. The couple was in the VIP area of his restaurant Southern Hospitality restaurant in New York City.

The popular eatery had been set up as a great place to watch the Floyd Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto fight -- on 14 big screens -- from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. Justin and Jessica "cuddled and laughed with each other as they watched the fight," an eyewitness tells us. "And they really cheered when Justin Bieber entered the Arena with Mayweather."

Mayweather won the hard-fought battle by unanimous decision. The victory was likely a bit bittersweet. Mayweather reports to jail June 1 for an 87-day sentence on a misdemeanor domestic battery conviction. On the lighter note, Justin and Jessica are expected to report to the altar this summer in Italy.

Justin Timberlake definitely looks very different now than he did back in his 'NSYNC days. Back then, his style mostly consisted of ill-fitting leather jackets, baggy trousers and that famous head of unkempt blond curls.

Those clothes and even that fro were definitely the "in" things. It was the late 1990s and early 2000s, so that meant neon tracksuits, sunglasses with rose-colored lenses and loose-cut JNCO jeans were all the rage. Therefore, we're thinking that Justin should probably go a little easier on himself when reflecting on the fashion risks he took back in the day.

But in a new interview with Details magazine, Timberlake revealed his true feelings about some of his cringe-worthy looks. "There were many moments in my teenage years where I succumbed to, um, the weirdness of the group I was in. And in trying to conform — we're marionettes! — I ended up looking like a moron."

Things began to take a turn for the better after he shaved off his curls. "A shaved head. It's scary the first time you do it, because you don't know what's under there — you could have some weird knot — but a shaved head is just so easy," he said.

While Timberlake may not like to think about the past, MTV News is looking back on some of Timberlake's most questionable 'NYSNC looks. 1999 Billboard Music Awards At the show, his sunglasses had purple lenses, he was rocking a major medallion on his chain and every guy in the band had some version of an all-black leather suit with a racer stripe on it. For the record, Timberlake's was right across his chest.

2000 Puppet Unveiling Going for a casual, cool look at the unveiling of the band's No Strings Attached-inspired puppets, Timberlake's gray and blue baseball T-shirt was perfectly accessorized by that giant out-of-hand 'fro atop his head. While Timberlake later shaved it off, the puppet is stuck with that look for all of eternity. 2000 Wango Tango Concert Cornrows and aviators with red lenses?
